“View” Provides Free Consultation for SMEs Development Society Members

Bahrain Small and Medium Enterprises Development Society announced that it has collaborated with a specialized company to provide its members with free consultation for their businesses.

The Society signed an agreement with “View” company during the first new board meeting, which was held in its offices in Juffair. The Society called for the members willing to benefit from the counseling services, to visit its offices every Tuesday from 10 am to 12 pm. “View” offers a wide range of counseling services including accounting, arranging finances, business development, business re-engineering and project evaluation.

On this occasion, Mr. Ahmad Al Saloom, Society Chairman commented, “As a part of our continuous efforts in assisting business and entrepreneurs to grow their business, we are happy to sign this agreement which will be very useful to our members. “View” has a long experience in developing businesses and helping them to overcome obstacles. We hope it will contribute in developing SMEs in Bahrain and support them to play greater role in the national economy.”

Mr. Jalal Hajji, CEO at View said “We will do best to support the enterprises by providing them with the right advice to develop their businesses or to obtain finance from local banks or Tamkeen. Start-up businesses will be offered with a comprehensive overview of the market and the challenges they will face, where as existing business will get support to market their products and solve their problems.”

View is a Bahraini company established in 2013 and has 20 years of accumulated experiences in the fields of consultancy, management, finance and advertising. It offers clients with various services that help them to develop their businesses.

In light of their recent meeting with the parliament, the Society also discussed the government plans to remove subsidies on meat and electricity and its effects on business owners.

Mr. Saloom said “removing subsides will have a direct impact on SMEs and it will have negative effects on citizens of Bahrain. We asked the MPs to treat restaurants and businesses equally to the citizens. The Society is making a list of restaurant and businesses that need subsides based on a number of criteria.”

During the meeting, the Society discusses the idea if supporting SMEs in international mobile exhibitions and conferences. They stressed on the importance of this initiative in promoting Bahrain, which could be achieved through coordinating with government agencies.

Also, they reviewed the operations of Farouk Al Moayyed SMEs Development Center which is managed by the society.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Ahmad Alsaloom, Mrs. Khulood Abdul Qadir, Mrs. Suhair Bukhammas, Mr. Ammar Awachi and Mr. Ahmed Khalfan.
